Panther Creek senior Zy’vaun Puckett will represent Wake County in the Carolinas Classic All-Star Basketball Game later this month.
Puckett, who stands at 6-foot-3 and 175 pounds, had an impressive season for the Catamounts.
During the 2025-2026 campaign, Puckett averaged 21.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. He helped Panther Creek to a 17-9 season and the Quad City Seven Conference regular season title.
Puckett’s 21.5 points per game average led Wake County this season, according to MaxPreps. He will continue his basketball career next season at Brunswick Community College in Bolivia.
The Carolinas Classic All-Star Game puts some of the top high school seniors in North Carolina up against their counterparts from South Carolina.
This year’s all-star game will be played on March 21 at Dorman High School in Spartanburg, S.C. The event includes a girls game and a boys game.
