ATHLETIC TRYOUT REQUIREMENTS & INFORMATION

7th and 8th grade ATHLETES – Before Tryouts you must be Eligible:

1. Be sure you are eligible to try out for sports. Visit https://www.wcpss.net/p/~board/family-resources/post/middle-school-sports for a complete list of eligibility requirements and athletic policies. 

   1. Academic Eligibility  Academics – Students must meet promotion requirements. Students must earn passing grades in 70% of the number of courses taken in the previous semester. 

   2. Attendance Eligibility Attendance – Students must meet attendance requirements. Students must be present in 85% Attendance requirement in the previous semester
