Jordan Page, Finley Lewis named District 5 Players of the Year in basketball

The N.C. Basketball Coaches Association has released its all-district teams for the 2025-2026 season.

All-district teams are voted on by coaches who are members of the NCBCA. Players from N.C. High School Athletic Association member schools are eligible for selection, regardless of class.

13 boys and 15 girls from Wake County were selected to the all-district team this year for District 5.

Among the selections were Jordan Page (Broughton) and Finley Lewis (Leesville Road), who were selected as the boys and girls players of the year in District 5.

Page, a junior, averaged 19.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.1 steals per game this season for the Capitals.

Leiws, also a junior, averaged 19.6 points, 13.1 rebounds, 2.4 steals, 2.0 blocks, and 1.4 assists per game for the Pride.

In addition, Willow Spring girls basketball coach Melissa Wilson was named the District 5 Coach of the Year. The Storm finished the season 26-2, won the Quad City Seven Conference title, and advanced to the regional championship game for the first time in school history.
