Football, Cheerleading, and Girls’ Volleyball start on Tuesday, September 3. You will head to the gym at 3:00 to meet your coach if you are trying out. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR DIGITAL TICKET TO PLAY TO TRY OUT. All athletes should bring their own water and appropriate athletic clothing. All future updates for tryouts and team selections will be communicated by the coach, on our athletics website (https://wakecountyathleticzone.com/heritage-middle/), and on Twitter/X (https://x.com/hmsathletics1).
Parents, please pick up on time. All tryouts will end at 4:45. Cheerleading and volleyball parents will pick up at the front of the building. Football parents will pick up near the scoreboard at the back of the building.
Volleyball Specific Information – Volleyball tryouts will begin on Tuesday, September 3rd for 7th graders only. Volleyball tryouts for 8th graders will be held Wednesday, September 4th.
Cheerleading Specific Information – Meet in the cafeteria. Dress appropriately with a t-shirt, shorts, cheer/tennis shoes (NO CROCS), no jewelry, and hair pulled back.
Football Specific Information – Please bring cleats, shorts, and a t-shirt. Must be present for all three days.
