We have to verify that all students are eligible. This is why the registration deadline ends days before tryouts begin.

SPRING Sports Eligibility is based on the FIRST semester of THIS school year

Tryout Information

YOU MUST BE ACADEMICALLY ELIGIBLE AND HAVE PAPERWORK IN PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE

NEW ELIGIBILITY RULE. (Full details are located on the Eligibility Rules page)

Students must earn passing grades in 1 less core class than of the number of courses taken in the previous semester.
WCPSS requires students to be in attendance 85% of the previous semester.

THE RISK OF SUBMITTING PAPERWORK ON DEADLINE DAY

Must be completely correct, or tryouts will be denied. It is strongly suggested to submit the paperwork early, and be approved WELL IN ADVANCE of the deadline.FIall Sports Eligibility is based on 2nd semester of the previous school ye

If you submitted paperwork in Dragonfly for Fall sports, please go in and check the dates of everything to make sure you do not have any documents expiring.

If your child initially did not sign up for basketball and you are adding that sport, please email me at pjadams@wcpss.net and let me know. Dragonfly does not alert me when parents add sports.

First cuts for both teams will be posted on the website by 8:00pm
