Mills Park Coaches Training
All coaches must annually complete the three following training classes (give at copy of the certificates to the AD), attend the mandatory coaches meeting and update their sport specific EAP (give a copy to the AD) before tryouts can be held

CHEER– In addition to the 3 required training links above coaches must complete the WCPSS cheer coaches program below:Â
WCPSS CHEERLEADING COACHES PROGRAM FOR 2019-2020
- Â AACCA Online Certification (www.nfhslearn.com) is required for all cheer coaches (middle, J.V. and varsity). This requirement needs to be completed every 4 years.
- Safety Updates Class- Required each year for middle school coaches
 August 24 at 5:00. Virtual this year.

3. NFHS first Aid, health and safety $35Â
4. NFHS Fundamentals of coaching $Â

6. CDC Heads up to youth Sports- free
Staff Volunteer Coaches-All staff volunteers need to complete the sport specific trainings from above.
Volunteer Coaches-
If you are interested in volunteering to help coach an athletic team please contact the coach of the sport first. They will then contact the Athletic Director and the process for approval can begin. No one is allowed to help with an athletic team until they are cleared by WCPSS Human Resources. We appreciate your willingness to volunteer your time our student athletes!
