Coach Melvin Chambers is pleased to be apart of Carroll Magnet Middle School coaching staff. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Chemical Firefighter in 2004 he relocated to Raleigh, NC where he later graduated from  St. Augustine University.  Coach Chambers began coaching football at Dillard Drive Middle School as the Offensive Coordinator and then went on to becoming a Running Back Coach at Southeast Raleigh HS , Running Back & Assistant Offensive Coordinator at Enloe HS, and QuarterBack & Wide Receiver Coach at Apex HS.Coach Chambers has been serving in many community programs  helping youth develop into student athletes and positive young men in their communities
