Fall Sports Ticket To Play
If you are interested in a Fall sport (Girls Soccer, Volleyball, Football, or Cheerleading), please open and complete a DragonFly account. All DragonFly accounts will let our athletic trainer, Mr. Capel, know that you are interested in trying out for a fall sport on September 5th. In order to receive your ticket to play, which will be in the form of a wristband, you must be academically eligible and have all of your athletic paperwork submitted through DragonFly. Along with having appropriate athletic paperwork and being academically eligible, students MUST have less than 14 total absences for a semester. Mr. Capel or Mr. Esposito will verify all of this information. If you pass all of those requirements, you will be given a wristband to wear on the first day of tryouts. This wristband is your ticket to play and will prove to the coach that you are cleared. No wristband = No tryout, no exceptions! All paperwork must be submitted no later than September 1st. Wristbands will be distributed to students on September 1st AND on September 5th. We are looking forward to seeing our Dolphins play again this year!
Here is the pre-participation packet for the 2023-2024 school year. All students must complete the pre-participation packet prior to trying out for a sport. This packet will be valid for the entire 2023-2024 school year and will only need to be submitted once, with the exception of the doctor’s physical exam. The physical exam is valid for 395 days from the date of the exam. If your physical exam is going to expire within the 2023-2024 school year, a new physical exam must be submitted. A student athlete will not be allowed to participate without a valid physical exam and the completed pre-participation packet. These pages must be submitted digitally, through our new online registration system, DragonFly Max, which is now up and running! Click the links below to receive directions on how to create your DragonFly Max account. Parents, when registering, please create the account under your name. Once you have an account, you will be able to add in your children. Once you have added in your children, you will see a To-Do list icon which will take you to all of the required forms. Your DragonFly Max account will also follow you to any WCPSS school you attend, and save all of your forms! Our athletic trainer, Tim Capel, will email you confirmation on your DragonFly paperwork status, letting you know if you still need to submit anything or if your paperwork is complete.
