Taryn

Taryn Strickland, MA, LAT, ATC

Head Athletic Trainer

Taryn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire and earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010.  Taryn has worked in the high school setting as an athletic trainer since 2010 and also serves as the public relations committee chair for the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association.  She teaches Sports Medicine I-IV at GLHS in the Healthful Living Department.  

Taryn is originally from Maine and has called North Carolina home since 2008.  She was a high school and collegiate athlete and enjoys spending time outdoors and reading in her free time.

Marino Bucci, PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Marino Bucci is a Sports Rehabilitation and Performance specialist. He has worked with Division I athletic programs including the Ohio State University, University of Central Florida, and presently works as a PT for Duke Sports Medicine.  In addition to his healthcare training, Dr. Bucci has extensive experience as a high-level strength & conditioning specialist, nutritionist, and sports scientist. During his time as a holistic health coach and corporate executive wellness consultant, he conducted an array of health information and exercise workshops, and multiple academic lectures. He is also a published researcher and consistently contributes to the advancement of clinical practice and sport science.

Kerry Resier

Certified First Responder

During middle and high school Kerry was a four sport athlete until she tore both ACLs during a tennis match.  After spending an abundance of time with the athletic trainer at her school, she was intrigued.  She started taking sports medicine classes and worked closely with her school’s athletic trainer. Once she graduated from college and began teaching, she volunteered to help the athletic first responder at the middle school she worked at. When she retired, Kerry took over the position and loved getting to work with athletes and help to enhance their health and performance.

Karah Bullins

Certified First Responder

Karah Fegeley was born in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, but raised in Cary, North Carolina. She was a Student Athletic Trainer for 4 years at Panther Creek High School. Following high school, Karah went on to Wake Tech earning an Associate Degree in Emergency Medical Science, working as a Paramedic and in the lab at UNC REX  Hospital upon graduation.

Karah has been the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse Coach for the last 7 years at Leesville Road High School. She has also worked as First responder for fall sports at Panther Creek and Green Hope High Schools. Karah is currently the registrar at Green Level and is very excited to be begin dedicating more time to athletic training.
