It is Apex High School Athletics policy that if you are seen by a physician, you are to submit a note of clearance (from the same physician/office) before being permitted to participate in future school-sponsored athletic activities. If you have been diagnosed with a concussion please see information below on the proper procedures to follow.

NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER
“Student-athletes hoping to continue participating in college should register with the NCAA Eligibility Center as early as early as possible and become familiar with the NCAA requirements for participation. Intercollegiate athletics is extremely competitive, with a small percentage of high school athletes going on to the college level (information provided by the NCAA).”
